Alinea Chambers is pleased to welcome Hai-Van Nguyen as our new Reader.
Before joining the bar, Hai-Van was a Senior Associate at Clayton Utz, where she practised in employment, discrimination, sexual harassment, tenancy, administrative law, and commercial disputes. She regularly appeared in the Local Court, Fair Work Commission, NCAT and the Federal Circuit and Family Court.
Before joining Clayton Utz, Hai-Van was a solicitor at Legal Aid NSW in the criminal and family law divisions and a Legal Aid Human Rights Fellow.
Hai-Van holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts (English Literature) from the University of New South Wales.
