After spending time at Morris Fletcher & Cross (now Minter Ellison), Paul McQuade was called to the Bar in 1990 and took silk in 2014. In addition to his significant experience in complex commercial law matters, Paul draws on his knowledge gained as a Chartered Accountant to enhance his practice.
Ranked in Band 1 for Insolvency and Restructuring by Chambers & Partners Asia Pacific and Chambers & Partners Global, Paul McQuade KC has been variously described as “the pre-eminent insolvency lawyer”, “probably the leading insolvency expert in the country”, with an “encyclopaedic knowledge of insolvency”. Paul specialises in corporate and personal insolvency and corporate law; however, his practice covers a wide range of factually and legally complex matters which span many areas of law including banking and finance, competition and consumer law, contract law, equity and trusts, partnerships, and property.
